Care and Treatment

The following are basic guidelines for the care and treatment of your pieces:

Your jewelry should be the last thing you put on in the morning and the first you take off at night.  Showering, swimming or just getting wet should be avoided.  Your pieces prefer to be stored by themselves in a pouch or box.

How we care for sterling silver and stainless steel jewelry:

A special sterling silver cleaning cloth such as a sunshine cloth can remove tarnish and restore shine to sterling silver and stainless steel.

You may also mix a paste of baking soda and water and apply to metal with a soft bristle brush (we prefer a baby toothbrush) and rinse with water.  Wipe dry with a soft cloth.

We also use white toothpaste to remove tarnish and polish silver and stainless, again applied with a soft brush and rinsed and dried with a soft cloth.

To clean stones: Soak in a glass of warm water with a nondetergent soap such as Ivory and rub with your hands or soft toothbrush (see above) to remove any debris. Dry with a soft cloth.

Of course, feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns; we are here to help!!
